Snow!

Despite the fact that it took me about an hour and a half to get to work this morning (buses were VERY slow, ploughs are having a hard time keeping up), I'm all cheerful and imbued with Christmas spirit. It descended on me at about 4 p.m. Saturday just after I bought wrapping paper -- I caught myself skipping (!) up the steps to my building. Then I faked some mulled cider and wrote Christmas cards. (I know this doesn't sound too impressive but I haven't managed this much lately -- however, this year I did what you're supposed to: cleared off part of the table, collected cards, pen, stamps, return-address stickers, address book and list, and got to it. Posted 28 this morning.)

Also, I am nearly done with my Christmas shopping. It's all over the living room floor, waiting to be wrapped.

Office is very very quiet... guess I should get some work done...
