onward, ever onward
Mar. 8th, 2004 07:55 pmOK, I figured out the problem with the PDFs on McGill's site: old Acrobat plug-in (bad me for not reading all the info, although I'm pretty sure I used to have version 5 of the Reader -- must've got lost in the latest upgrade).
Now if they will get back to me with info on how to get into Minerva, I'll be a (moderately) happy camper. I followed the instructions, but it's not cooperating. I'm using what ought to be the correct ID, but it doesn't believe I exist. Maybe I graduated too long ago.
[Edit: Well, one problem solved. The PDF worked! Finally! They've done something really weird and it won't open in the browser, and Windows tried to install something called Microsoft Journal Reader while I was opening it... but it worked. Halle-frickin'-lujah. That was WAY too much effort.]
[Edit 2: Fine, now it opens in the browser.]
