Wow, it's been a while.

I am not taking the anime colour quiz. I'm just not. So there.
So anyway, the week is actually chugging along fairly nicely... just out-of-my-head busy on one project so the other seven are falling by the wayside. I worry about this.
We are MUCH further along on the three-week-timeline devil project than we were on Monday. (Thank goodness.) Client agreed to drop some of the extraneous bits since time is so tight. Also, talked to the client's editor who spoke sanely and reasonably and said "No, it doesn't all have to be laid out, and no, it's not all going to be approved in one day... the brand group always think they can push it through the process in a day, but they are wrong!"
I am calm. But dear heaven there's still a lot to do, and I was supposed to get an artist today but Sheryl needed him after all, and I'm taking Friday off, and all my other projects have to be dealt with and I'm ignoring them, and... and... and... (*pant*) (*sob*) OK. Calm.
Did I mention that yesterday around noon I received an email informing me that my freelance instructional designer, the linchpin of this whole insane operation, had a family emergency and was on his way to the States? Well. He took everything with him but we. Are. Very. Behind.
Anyway this isn't making any sense, clearly there is no point my updating while my wits are scattered in this fashion. Friday off, going to Toronto for the family birthday. Will be good.
