smog notes
Jun. 14th, 2005 09:37 am1. The air quality seems better today, or at least I can see the top of the TD Canada Trust Tower clearly without the veil of haze.
2. But yay for the City of Toronto -- I went to return my books to the library and they had notices on all the doors of City Hall saying "Because there is a smog alert today, the building will be warmer than usual to reduce our energy needs. Please wear light, comfortable clothing." If only my building were doing likewise.
3. According to the Globe, we tied our record for smog advisories yesterday (although we changed our alert system recently to include fine particulate matter, so it might not really be worse than in the past, we're just noticing it more).
4. Have I mentioned that I love my steroid inhaler?
