On dirt.

Healthy soil literally lives and breathes; it's made up of decomposing matter and live organisms, from tiny bacteria to earthworms as big as your finger. Healthy soil is like a decadent poem: fevered activity, death, life, rebirth, green leaves and lovely flowers rooted in a bed of seething scatology.

A society that fails to study that poem courts extinction.

Eee! Baby!

everyone will be forced to use "disinterested" and "uninterested" correctly.

Likewise "comprised" and "composed".

I realize that I have high expectations, which is why I'm warning you now.

On the off chance that Queen of the World turns out to be a rotating post, what will your edicts be?
electricland: (house plan)
because you knew all this non-house content was too good to last.

My aunt reports:

Hello all. Lovely day.

For lunch we had eggs Benedict and asparagus.

John is working on wiring on the third floor to separate boxes for base plugs and light switches. Evidently, another change in inspectors' perceived wisdom.

Stuart has finished the third floor floor.

Brian the Tile is there. Dan is cutting drywall, etc. to get stuff ready.

Lever and Wedge are there.

Helen
I swear, we'd be living there already if it wasn't for all those pesky inspectors.

OK, maybe not.
