House update: Tuesday

Thanksgiving was lovely, but of course it meant that nobody worked on the house for three days. *sigh* My aunt reports:

Today for lunch, Dan, John and I had bacon and tomato buns, grilled cheese bagels and pumpkin pie.

Boys are working on greenboard in bathrooms, and finishing plumbing.

Plumbing involves new drain for Jen's toilet, installing sink drains in kitchens, which will be joined to stack beside the chimney and then in the third floor go elsewhere.

The inspector wants to see the plumbing--and some vapour barrier--before walls are closed in.

John will call the Direct Guy--or Andrew O --about a mechanical permit.

I also have to phone Sears and delay the delivery of our appliances, 'cause let's face it, we won't be ready for them on Friday.
