So we had a farewell lunch for a colleague today and Robbie Burns Day and
haggis were mentioned. One of my colleagues said that the Auld Spot Pub on the Danforth has
haggis (on Robbie Burns Day, anyway). I've never been, but was able to
assure him it was still there. He says it's really good, also Scottish. I
asked why not from Gloucestershire? Blank looks all around, as it appears
I was the only person at the table to have heard of the Gloucester Old Spot Pig.
Up until just now that's all I had done, but after reading about it some
more I think:

1. I am in love with this pig.
2. I want to visit this pub.

Colleague is grateful to me for illuminating why there is a pig on the pub
sign, as it never made any sense to him before. We still don't get the
name, if they are in fact Scottish, but are willing to let it go.
