electricland: (house parrot)
Went by the house this morning to check out my window-seat-to-be. Assured
my dad I do want it that high and that wide. Dan and Dave complained that
it was too hot, and they were right, it was about 30°C -- not sure
what the deal is with the thermostat, but hopefully my uncle has the
manual. The parrot in this icon would be very happy.

I have my last set of script reviews for epilepsy! And the reviewer is
happy! Now I just have to incorporate all the changes. Piece of cake. This
is my favourite thing about editing -- when you get a chance to Make It
Better and actually succeed, it's a good feeling.

That is all, carry on.

My uncle says thank you very much for the info, and has a question: when low current wires -- coax/cat-5/phone -- are running parallel to house wiring, how far apart do they need to be? Is 6" enough, or should it be 1', or 6'?

And I thank you too. ;)

(Edited to put the right symbols in. Email posting not always infallible, clearly.)

My aunt reports:

Today for lunch, Dan, David, John and I had udon noodle soup
with tempura.

Dan and David loaded up 3/4 of the dumpster this morning.

Bill and Stuart are at work on the third floor.

The tin bashers did not come. The HRV unit is there and John, who was busy
here this morning, is not overly worried.

Last seen, David and John were fooling with the truck, which has since
disappeared. We will see. David has six stitches in his stomach (surface,
nothing serious); so I told him to go home. Don't want to waste
hard-earned taxpayers' money.

Cheers, Helen
I had also sent the following report, but not in
time:

In case he doesn't mention it, which he probably won't, Daddy
has put a little scaffold in the back of his van that means it's no longer
necessary to remove the back seat, spare tire, boxes, crap, etc. if we
want to go buy drywall. He used it yesterday -- the idea is it supports
one end of the drywall and the seat supports the other end.

My parents and I dropped by the house this morning so that I could confirm
the dimensions of my window-seat-to-be. Admired Dennis's new plumbing in
the basement. Agreed with Dan and Dave that it was really way too hot. Was
unable to work the thermostat.

Hope all is well!
So I sent it out in general email instead.

I had Thai red curry chicken for lunch. A lot of it. I'd like a nap, but I
have to work. Sigh.
