Ewww! I'm strongly in favor of ecological protection but the UCS is a bunch of looney Greens who can be trusted no further than I can spit. I take great umbrage at a group calling itself the Union of Concerned Scientists that has so few members with scientific credentials and has been well castigated by the scientific community for distorting facts to meet their political agendas.
*shrug* Probably. However, a quick look around that site and its parent goes to show that everyone's got an agenda to push. If there were any actual impartiality in American public discourse these days, I'd be so much happier.
Amen to that. I was a bit hesitant about posting those two URLs because they were obviously biased, but were the least so that I could find in 10 minutes of googling.
