Every year, I regret that my genome doesn't really lend itself to fascinating, exotic, mysterious, dark-eyed beauty. Milkmaid, yes. Viking princess, possibly. Zombie, I could handle. But no, I keep trying... so today I am a gypsy fortune-teller (it's Rob's fault).

I am wearing 8 rings, 2 bracelets, 5 necklaces and the key emjayne gave me as a going-away present. Also eyeliner. Also rather a lot of damask, gauze and lace (I think the fortune-teller may have crossed some wires with a belly-dancer somewhere along the way). Also my glasses.

Well, lots of people seem to think I look cute, which is good because I seem to be the only one dressed up...

I was putting on eyeliner last night as an experiment, and cursing. Nothing makes me look quite so peaches-and-cream bland as lots of Cleopatra makeup.
