Promiscuous drink mixing last night, cigarette smoke and turning streetcars in the wee hours of the morning, and a two-hour meeting do not make a happy Electric Landlady. But the party was fun and the meeting was productive, and I just had a chicken shawarma sandwich and I feel MUCH better.

Any time crankygrrl and I get together and have more than a drink apiece, we inevitably feel like singing. We don't always let loose, but in the bosom of her family and friends it's a different story (although I think we freaked out her father's girlfriend at first).

Fairytale of New York (which might work better if we could settle who gets to be Shane and who gets to be Kirsty, but never mind)

and of course, Mercedes Benz
There may have been more. If we do nothing else, though, we really have to learn more of the words to these.

Personally, I think all parties should involve singing.
