A lot of the stories fail the rigourous "Who cares?" test. I find you can weed out about 50% that way, with a further 30% failing either the "Duh" or the "n>1?" tests and another 15% the "So what?" test.
When you apply the even more rigourous "Will my boss like it?" test to what's left, you don't have an awful lot.
But anyway. The boss is in a mellow mood today; I have had compliments and no corrections. Whee!
