Oh look, I think my headache's finally going away!

Fed keyef and bryghtboy dinner last night. The great thing about guests: they bring dessert AND they put together your Ikea furniture! And they act like it's the most exciting and fun thing they've done in ages! I was cooking and they were sitting on the couch and I hear this little voice saying "Would it be OK if we put together your furniture?" Hee. It was lovely to see them.

I discovered Chez Miscarriage this morning via bookslut_blog. It is both funny and frightening, especially the scary comments in the Drive-By Mommy thread.

And now, I continue working.

And sorry for keeping you up so late the other night. When I looked at my watch after leaving your house, I absolutely could not believe that it had gotten to 2 am. Somewhere between the furniture assembly and yummy supper, I lost a few hours..

My parents are coming over to help me tackle the bits of desk that defeated us. Power tools are going to be a BIG help here. ;)

Desk is exactly where we left it on Tuesday. (Actually everything is exactly where we left it on Tuesday -- I should really do my dishes.) But my parents are coming to help me with it tomorrow, so I am hopeful.

And no need to be sorry -- I had a lovely time, and thank you again for coming over and putting all my furniture together!
