From my boss:

TV is good for your brain!

From [livejournal.com profile] lawgeekgurl, whom I seem to be following around today:

Jesus was no GOP lobbyist

Kenyan women take risks with backstreet abortions

I was definitely much more productive yesterday. However, no deadline this week, hurray! Which takes the pressure off and will, paradoxically, make me more productive, not less.

What would Jesus filibuster? The question is bizarre, of course, but the fact that many prominent religious and political leaders believe that there is an answer surely marks our time as pretty strange.

I'm reading - and loving - the TV article. I am also wondering how much the author suffered to pull it together. This kind of narrative study is DECEPTIVELY hard to write in a clear, concise and effective matter. At least, that is my humble opinion, given my current focus in life....

Of course...

I got to the end of the article. It's by Stephen Johnson. Of course.

That explains so very much (Interface Culture was a key text in my early grad school development!)
