Now it's freezing again. I can't keep up.

Went over to crankygrrl's place last evening and watched King Arthur -- I hadn't seen it before. Boy was it silly. You know the movie has gone wrong somewhere when you and your best friend are sprawled on the couch crying "Lancelot's pure man-love for Arthur has been tainted by girl cooties!" (Although I had some inklings before that -- like the immortal line "I hate anything that brings a man to his knees," which caused at least three separate and equally inappropriate thoughts to spring into my head and start fighting each other for space.)

And why did everyone have a different accent? Why can't a horse in a movie do anything without rearing first? Why did they take such care to have the priests praying in Latin when presumably everyone would be speaking Latin? Why... why... why...?

It was good fun, well worth the price of pizza. On the whole, though, I think cleolinda's recap was better.

Ewwww. That was a terrible movie. I love Kiera Knightley, and it was still a terrible movie.
I'll have to be a movie producer in a next life, or maybe just a bit later in this one.

I do so love your description of the issues with that movie! I have never seen it (and likely never will) but you really made me laugh.
