Met
stilldeepwater for lunch in Nathan Philips Square (hot dogs! So bad for us. So tasty). Bought asparagus, red peppers, tomatoes, and apples. Also went a little nuts on herbs: bought a planter containing parsley, rosemary, chives and thyme, which I'm hoping will fit in the wire holder on my balcony, and also a basil plant and a lavender plant, which I'm just hoping I don't kill in a week. A nice big terracotta pot might be a good solution, although the raccoons might just think their salad was more nicely presented than usual. (Did I mention I've found raccoon poop on the balcony? I've found raccoon poop on the balcony.)
I need a sunhat if I'm going to do much of that.

Date: 2005-06-08 08:37 pm (UTC)It's not dog poop. I've seen way too much of that to be confused.
Mutant squirrels?

Date: 2005-06-08 08:47 pm (UTC)If a raccoon could get there... I'm sure a cat could. And speaking from experience, cats can be sneaky bastards when they want to be.. like when they'd sneak into my roomates room to poop on his pillow.

Also, I am SOOOOOO not full of apathy today. And my neck hurts. And my life is chaos and I feel not remotely joyous about finishing my MA, and that sucks. /whine

Date: 2005-06-09 05:18 pm (UTC)well, not GENERALLY.
But dried out horse poop, on rare occasions, just possibly. But horse poop is less toxic than most kinds. And I MOSTLY use a shovel and wear gloves....
And plastic is much safer....
