House report: Tuesday

Yesterday's report went mysteriously astray, but J forwarded it to me.

Today, I fed the hooligans chicken pies (carefully defrosted all morning) and a warm basil, tomato, bacon and lettuce salad.

I'm pleased that David is back because now Dan is not so bored. Dan reports that their conversation has centred around history/politics, mythology and meaningless name-calling. I think, perhaps, they excel at the last.

Dan evidently got a lot of grief by changing the radio station to what others thought was Celine Dionne. It wasn't.

Dan and David are furing the studs of R's top floor. They sincerely hope that R likes a lot of 'character' in her walls.

John is still in the basement wiring.

Last night after the dump, R, John came home, dumped all his clothes in the basement, had a shower and then came to watch television without changing. Mike was a little taken aback, when he came in.

Character in my walls is good... I think...? I'm looking for a sort of medieval vibe, so that may actually work out very well.

Just got back from a meeting that went much better than it had any right to, considering I was totally unprepared for it. Feeling moderately crappy, but more energized -- it's nice that it's cooler today. Onward!
