Cousin J just phoned to tell me she saw Cara Pifko on King Street. She couldn't place her at first (do I know her? should I say Hi?). Sounds like she handled it in considerably cooler fashion than I would ("OMG I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK FOR ANOTHER SEASON! Also, that Alice finally got laid! Oops, that was my outside voice, wasn't it?").

That would be why I went to get Denise Crosby coffee. There was about to be an outbreak of "OMG!!!!11!1! You're the coolest, I had your action figure and everything." Bad enough when I did it to Nana Visitor.

It was right at the very very end of the season. Which was a good season, so yes, shame on you for missing it!

ah, nah, no spoiler warnings needed for me in this case. I like the show, but never had time to watch consistently and found that while it is witty and fun, I wasn't so attached to the characters to want to not know what happens while knowing if you know what I mean? :).

I think part of the disconnect for me was the really big city/toronto centric side of the show - it just isn't something I WANT to understand better!

as for missing it, Mom liked House. A lot. Perhaps too much (Fine show, but again, I like it sufficiently to watch, but not to stop riding for....). And she liked to watch AND tape it (for Dad, ostensibly). And setting up to tape Wonderland on my TV would have invovled planning and um, ya.

Okay, you'll like this. The wedding I'm singing at in 2 weeks? The groom is old friends with Cara. I actually met her at a party a few years back. When This is Wonderland began airing, I was all "That woman looks very familiar. What have I seen her in before?"

Then one Monday evening, I phone up S&A, and A was all "I have to go now and watch Cara on Wonderland, and I was all "I KNEW I knew that woman!"

And that's my whole story.
