House update: Wednesday

My aunt reports:

Today had corn on the cob bought from Vince's on the way home from the cottage. Also rye and French bread, with three cheeses, tomatoes and cucumber. John mentioned the lack of protein.

Dan has finished R's pass-through. He says the proportions are very good. John bought screws. John is wiring this afternoon.

John went looking for Dan's check. Couldn't find it. Realized he'd deposited it himself, along with a batch of others. Restitution has been made.

Daniel said that, with David away yesterday, his self-esteem had risen. David said he came back just in time.

Woohoo! My pass-through is done! I'm all excited. Borrowed J's Big Book o' Colour Schemes, but have not yet finalized anything. I've never had so many rooms and halls and stairs to think about before!

Although he will not see this, Happy Birthday to Dan!
