A note on my Friends list...

electriclandI tend to assemble it in a fairly random fashion. Some people I have actually met, some of those I know better than others. Some people I have met online, elsewhere. Some friended me first. Some I found through the Random function, back when that worked, or through common interests. Some posted on communities I watch and/or am part of. Some are friends of friends (or rather Friends of Friends). I think I even ran into one or two via LJ Drama.
In all cases, they tend to be familiar with the standard rules of English usage, grammar and punctuation (not, goodness knows, that I'm a stickler for those, but it hurts when EVERY post has random numerals in it) and have something interesting to say.
All this to say, if you're wondering how you arrived on my Friends list, one of those methods is probably it. I mention this because some of you friend me back, and I'd hate to feel this was done under (my) false pretenses. Hi. Welcome.
Probably time to face the day, huh? Library books. Ulp.
Did I mention I found a library book left over from September in my briefcase? The library's obviously forgotten all about it too. (Sailing to Sarantium... which I still haven't read.) This will tell you how often I use my briefcase.
I'm thinking full disclosure is my best bet, but oh dear... hopefully can talk my way out of terrible fines... d'you think they'll charge me more than the cost of the book? It's not like they called me to look for it or anything.
