I'm at the airport on one of those funky internet kiosks Bell sets up. It claims to be coin-operated, but it lies.

Traffic horrible, but airport nearly deserted so no problem with Immigration (despite the fact I don't seem to have Heidi and Rock's address or phone number on me... hope this doesn't become a problem). Too bad this is going to be such a short trip. Ah well, it's (mostly) free.

Demon project is officially out the door. Client even thanked us! Deadline pressure eased like anything Wednesday night when war broke out... but we are DONE. Time to concentrate on other neglected projects.

Team meeting and beer last night. Mass bitch session, Michel wrote it all down and promises to follow up. S got quite upset, she's under various pressures (clients, plus husband wants to do a degree in Quebec, plus needs more support). Still, a good evening.

There's this nifty little clock in the top right corner of my screen that says how long I've spent and how much it's costing me. 6 min 57 seconds so far, and $2. Makes it a little hard to concentrate. Anyway.

(Btw, Mom and I just had a MAJOR blow out. SHe laughed *AT* me. Alot. When I was just trying to help. Having just spent an hour making phone calls for her. While she watched.

FUCK. I AM SO PISSED. And I couldn't say so cuz my aunt was right there.

well, we talked. It is sorted out. Mostly. But 2.5 hours for lunch is a bit excessive. And trust me, I was trying to get back to work. In fact, that was part of the precipitor for the argument. I would have LOVED to have brought the moms and babies in and fed them. MUCH more than sitting on the fucking phone. But by the time she asked for that, i needed to get back to work.

Anyhow, dealt with now.
