Also, I gather that tomorrow we are getting Toronto's snow, around 20 cm worth. Bleah. Thanks a lot, although I suppose it will be an improvement over current grey grimness and subzero temp.

Housewarming @ Nathalie's tonight, should be fun (although I am NOT going to drink... need to give my body a break, I think).

For those who are still burning with curiosity, the song I sang with Iain was in fact "The Safety Dance" by Montreal's own Men Without Hats. I woke up this morning with it in my head. We did OK.

"Knockin' On Heaven's Door" with JS and Mike.

"Just a Girl" by myself. Not doing that again.

And, as mentioned, "Me and Bobby McGee" with Mike.

Wow, whole lotta karaoke goin' on.

Anyway, supposed to be working so I can get a clean slate next week, which I'm going to need for dealing with scary timeline. Need to plan my week, in fact. Plan... what a concept...

Calling what we got snow would be overly generous... think more sand with a think coating of concrete. Then add in an extra special helping of evil... just cause any spring that has to come this many times has to have something to do with the forces of darkness.

Lovely.

What's mostly going on here at the moment is slush, with a thin layer of ice on high objects. Ick.
