House update: Thursday

Banner day apparently! My aunt reports:

Today for lunch, Jen, John and I met at Gabby's. We had pub
food and listened to the ilk of Bonnie Rait. It was quite charming.

Jen and John met me there after their excursion to northwestern Canada.
They muttered a lot about Manitoba, James Bay and Fort Churchill. But it
was all quite successful.

John and Jen went to Ikea and returned kitchen bits, picked up bits and
bobs, and still came out with an Ikea credit which will go some way to
providing more bits and bobs.

They went to Ginger's and got extension bits for Jen's bathtub faucets,and
then went to the fan shop and got an extension rod for Rob's fan. Jen is
quite excited. (??)

Today is William's last day. I asked John if he'd give him a kiss for me;
they shook hands.
