House update: Friday

My aunt reports:

Today for lunch, Jen, John and I had tortierre and salad.

Yesterday afternoon, Jen put up blinds in her bedroom, assembled a CD rack
for the bathroom (it's for pharmaceuticals), cleaned up wood and talked to
the tiles in Rob's bathroom.* Today she wired three wall sconces in the
dining room.

Yesterday John has fiddled with the extensions on Jen's bathroom taps and
today "refined the solution." He also installed a towel ring.

*I went over to admire yesterday
evening and discovered that the corner bits were for 270° corners, not
90° corners. No idea why the tile store gave these to us; perhaps we
asked for the wrong thing? But she's right, the colours look
fantastic.

I also admired my fan yesterday, although it will take a vast amount of
installation and is scary. Must remember to take pictures.

William left many tools at the House, and according to Jen has not so much
finished as fired us -- presumably temporarily.

Will do some work on the House tomorrow and then go up to the cottage for
the weekend, hurray!
