House update: Thursday

Another historic day! (They're coming thick and fast!) Yesterday evening I
got home to discover... a shower. In my apartment. Yes, really.

Now I need to find my shower curtain (and buy another one, because it's a
clawfoot tub).

My aunt reports:

Today for lunch, Calypso, Dan, John and I had pizza and bread
and cheese.

John has Robin's shower operational!! Still not too stable; needs
escutcheons. Also been exploring electrical circuits. Also located some
real wood trim from the store pile, which Dan is mounting as lintels. Dan
is also measuring for baseboards--covering the territory.

Dennis managed to acquire, free, a replacement spin saw, which will make
everyone's heart jump with joy.

yay! and clawfoot tubs are wonderful. we had one in the cabin we stayed at in maine for 23 summers. there's just something about them.
