God, Case Ootes annoys me. My attention to municipal politics is intermittent at best, but every time I read anything about him, he's proposing something asinine. (Glenn De Baeremaker is only asinine about 70% of the time, for contrast.)

Just wanted to get that off my chest. Go about your day.

It astounds me - the difference in my riding when it comes to voting for municipal vs federal/provincial. I know they're not 100% the same coverage, but dammit - how can people who vote for Jack Layton and Peter Tabuns vote for Case Ootes?! 2 elections make me proud, the other ashamed. I'm having an identity crisis!

Case Ootes was one of Lastman's deputy mayors, which says it all, really.

He also dropped the angry f-bomb (as opposed to the pink f-bomb) on a certain provincial minister when he found out that the funding being proposed wasn't actually new funding, just re-branded funding.
