Him (reading over an article on peanut allergy): Nu-Nuts? Nu-Nuts? Aren't those...

Me: You're thinking of Neuticles, aren't you?

Him: Yep.

And you don't want to know where the conversation went after we explained Neuticles to Officemate 3. Deary deary me.

(For the record, Nu-Nuts are apparently "artificial nuts" that are made from deflavoured, artificially flavoured peanuts. Ick.)

ick indeed. and heh, sounds like you and your officemate have some good fun. i hope so. :)

as for the artificial food product thus described...humans are really strange creatures to make such a thing.

We both find Neuticles just hilarious; it's a running joke around here. We do have a cat who was neutered at six weeks old, but I suspect he would be... startled were we to restore him to his lost glory.

On the other hand, I have to admire a set of officemates who not only read each other's minds, but do it about such a topic!

:D

I found it especially disturbing that the Neuticles site says you can get these things in different degrees of firmness. I mean... how would you...? Why would you...? The mind reels.

Of course if they make a difference between neutering your pet and not neutering it, then I'm all for Neuticles. But good lord.

We do have fun!

I assume Nu-Nuts are made for reasons of cost. Although it seems like an awful lot of extra work.

indeed and exactly. but somehow that feels very human....all that extra work for a very odd sounding result.
