For some reason my entire neighbourhood* smelled of pancakes this morning. I kept looking around hoping someone was giving them away or something, but no such luck.

I have no idea where the smell came from. If it was Sunset Grill, you'd expect this pancake-smell phenomenon to happen more often.

*seriously, I smelled pancakes the moment I stepped out my door and continued to smell them all the way down to the off-leash area on the beach; the smell was particularly strong in the park

Here's your random factoid of the day : coolant that's leaked into a car engine and burned smells startlingly like pancakes with syrup.

(I know you weren't driving, but maybe someone passing by had that issue?)
