Happy Halloween, everyone!
Normally I dress up for Halloween, but my week has been kee-razy. Monday: Yorkdale. Tuesday: drink with
life_on_queen, admittedly in my neighbourhood. Wednesday: International Festival of Authors with
life_on_queen and S. Thursday: Stratford Festival with my parents, all day (The Music Man and Caesar and Cleopatra, both fantastic).
I did try to think up a costume while walking the dog this morning, but was bereft of inspiration, and didn't want to copy previous years (Wench, Cowgirl, Pirate -- all reasonably easy to pull together from my existing wardrobe) or go lazy (Gardener, Hiker, Construction Worker, also relatively easy, but LAME). So I am just wearing jeans and a blazer as fairly usual.
Bought candy this morning. Still no pumpkin. Somewhere in the basement are some Halloween decorations. GAAAAH. You'd think I'd be better prepared, considering. This is clearly the price of having some kind of social life for once.
