happy things today

electricland1. The concert last night went well. No major disasters. I have plans for improvement next time.
2. Blue is back to his normal badness quotient following (ooh, I didn't tell you this story) his invasion of an upper cupboard (Jen reckons he must've climbed onto the counter) in search of mini Smarties, chocolate chips, and soup mix on Tuesday. He and Tilde were bouncing off the walls Tuesday night. It was funny, yet alarming. However, they seem to have recovered from their sugar highs.
2a. Blue's gastrointestinal complaints are definitely on the mend. Except apparently he has (if I heard the vet tech correctly on the phone) coccidia, so needs a course of treatment for that. GAH.
3. My work computer is not dead after all. There was a floppy disk in the drive. As found by the nice tech who came to check on the computer. *headdesk* (I hardly ever use those things any more! I forgot it was there! Plus, a more graceful failure, instead of a blank screen, might conceivably have been helpful. There, it's all IBM's fault.)
4. Everybody in the world is bringing around cookies and chocolate and other wonderful baked goods.
5. I got all my Christmas cards mailed, and now get a small glow of satisfaction instead of a flash of guilt when I receive a card from someone. Huge improvement!
