yes, this is from Monday. I forgot to post it before. it amused me.

It's Monday, April 21st.

Henry Kissinger is saying the war in Iraq could permanently alter the transatlantic balance of power.

In a recent op-ed, the former US Secretary of State declared the United States might reevaluate its ties with France, Germany and Russia.

Currently.... Europe has been warned. Next time any of you former allies want to join the US for some good old-fashioned carpet bombing ... or maybe a little propping up of a fascist dictator ...don't even THINK about crawling back to Henry Kissinger.

Hee.

Mostly I'm posting this because I had to get in the shower so I missed the part where Anna Maria asked Kissinger about possibly getting tried for war crimes and he walked out of the interview. I wanna hear that.

It was classic. My alarm went off in the middle of the interview, so I didn't realize it was Kissinger, but my first thought upon hearing what he was saying: who is this dumbass.

You're telling me someone actually gave this guy a Nobel Prize? For what? Bombing Cambodia? Very peaceful, that. The Swedes should demand he give it back.
