electriclandMy CD player appears to be fucked (noooooo! I have new CDs and nothing to play them on!). Luckily my aged copy of Smart Shopping Montreal lists a number of repair shops so I'll see what they can do. Argh. Radio for me for the next few days. I think it's just the little thingy that turns the CDs that's bust, but heaven only knows if this is fixable... still, being that it's one of, what, 2 moving parts?, I think it should be a fairly common problem.
Went in to work for a bit today, everyone was surprised to see me and said I look all relaxed and happy, which is just as it should be. Got through 160 emails in my inbox, most of them irrelevant (and that's not even counting mailing lists and personal emails and jokes, which I filter to other folders). Unfortunately, some lousy news awaited me. Steph is leaving, it's official this time, and there's worse... don't really feel like discussing the worse right now, but it took the edge off the happy homecoming a bit. However, none of my projects went nuclear while I was gone, so that's good. In point of fact very little seems to have progressed at all. Ah well...
