Off the top of my head: My family and friends, including these ones, Flora Poste, Granny Weatherwax, Aung San Suu Kyi, Desmond Tutu, Cordelia Naismith, Sophy Stanton-Lacy, the folks over at Save Farscape and the Farscape Canada list, Nigella Lawson, Ursula K. Le Guin, Neil Gaiman, Emma Thompson, Anne Elliot... and many others.
What makes you happy?
Accomplishment. Friendship. Beauty. Conversation. Good news. Good stories. Good food. Silly things. I could go into detail, but I think that about covers it.
Where were you born?
A hospital in Toronto.
When did you learn to drive?
As soon as I could, at 16, although it took me much longer to earn my license.
Why do drive-up ATMs have braille keys?
It's cheaper to use the same keys as for regular machines than to make separate ones specially.
