electriclandI finished work and thought "Hm. I could:
a) Go to the pub as per invitation and hang out with friends (all of whom I work with and/or saw on Wednesday)
b) Go to the jazzfest and enjoy great music and a fantastic urban event in the company of like-minded fellow citizens
c) Go home
Naturally I chose option (c). I am a wimp.
But it worked out OK because Mary called and came over and looked at my pictures while I ate and then we walked to Dairy Queen and got bad-for-us desserts and sat on a bench and discussed Life, Love, Careers, Etc. Was fun.
And now I shall go to bed... because I am tired. Hope I sleep better than last night, anyway.
