I have books!
Jul. 5th, 2003 03:31 pmBooks from
mthrtongue! They're here!
I'd almost forgotten I'd asked for them, then there was a notice in my mailbox saying an Intriguing Parcel was waiting for me at the post office. (Well,it didn't say that -- there's no space on the Canada Post form for that -- but to me, all parcels are Intriguing.)
heee.
So I now have:
The Classic Tradition of Haiku: An Anthology
Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes, by Eleanor Coerr
Antonia Saw the Oryx First, by Maria Thomas
Things Fall Apart, by Chinua Achebe
Thank you!
Now, what to send as a token of my appreciation? I know -- books!
Well, maybe not. I shall consider the matter.
