Timelines, timelines, timelines
Aug. 18th, 2003 07:54 pmThey're the bane of my existence. Nowhere is the "please the client, but keep it realistic" aspect of my job spelled out in such large letters. And they always put someting ridiculous into the proposals and the client always wants something different anyway. Oh well, I know for a fact they are never adhered to in any case, and it's usually not our fault. I feel better about this particular one because I just noticed the version in the proposal starts a month earlier than we are actually starting. Phew.
In related news, I'm about to go blind from staring at MS Project. If I send this to the client she'll be horrified, it has 234 items... I think I'll just make a summary version, shall I? Yes.
Otherwise, I'm quite excited about this project.
