I hate it when the mail server goes down. Aaaargh. It probably wouldn't be so bad except I'm obsessive about checking my email as soon as Outlook's little envelope icon shows up in my system tray... and it's there, and I keep switching to Outlook and then I can't read the email or get rid of the envelope. Argh.

Yes, I'm a freak. What's your point?

Oh right, Mom always told me to laugh with people, not at them.

And I must say, I DO understand. If I could beat the need to compulsively check email the moment it arrived, I might actually get more done in a day. . . But it would be a less interesting day.

i have the somewhat opposite problem... when people aren't getting email, it must be my fault as it is my server.
