I'd have to do heavy editing, is the only thing. She gets so bent out of shape over Arwen in the first one, imagine the Arwen/Ents/Helm's Deep reaction to the second...

Ah. Probably a good thing then that Jackson scrapped the idea of having Arwen at Helm's Deep, fighting alongside Aragorn. (They really did film scenes of that, just as an idea.) Heh.
No, electricland REALLY does NOT want to do that. I am a purist.* As in, I wanted to tear my hair out and use it to strangle the entire production crew when I watched Fellowship. Which I did. At the theatre. Excited, in fact. With an open mind. It quickly slammed shut as I *COULD* NOT deal with some of the artistic license. ARWEN at the Ford of Bruinen? WTF???? :D. Poor ELL has listened to me rant more than once on this subject. Just last night, on MSN, she suggested the Lordoftherants community may be for me. :D. But I was asking who played Eowyn in TT, and that lead to her sending me the top photo, of Eowyn at Edoras, which led to her iconmaking.
BUT, I WILL NOT see Two Towers. Or ROTK. I cannot cope with anymore bastardization of my beloved trilogy disappointment.
*As in, I wrote my honours thesis on the novels. I know them inside out, backwards, forwards. As in I gave myself tendonitis taking notes from the novels. As in I LOVE them. but not in a creepy way :D
