Well, this is likely the way his constituants think. Am I putting words in his mouth? Kinda. Have I lived there? Yes. Do the majority of people where I am from believe that gays are Hell-bound? Yes. do I agree? Of course not.
What the west needs to do is move to Montreal and Vancouver for a couple of years, and then they won't be so uptight about this issue.

But if Harper just closes the door on him, he will lose western support. So even if I agree that he should be fired, Harper has no choice politically but to wait for this mother-fuckers resignation.
