Te move went excellently well, except for the part where the couch got wedged in the second floor stairwell and tore the banister out of its moorings--the spindles toppled like skittles.
Kate's brother Dan was hugely helpful, and Sarah and I were pretty mych overwhelmed by the amount of help we got. 15 bodies including children (not including us).
My brother Pete organised the loading, and having watched closely when the movers loaded up his family of five for the trip back from Calgary, he packed our not very large van using just about every square inch. Or, more accurately, I would say that 98% of the cargo space was filled (right to the roof).
