Mule deer are just really cute and that black stallion was just beautiful!
Very strange seeing so many animals moving through what looks like deserted woods. I guess I'm so used to walking through the woods and everything running away from my smelly human self!
see, part of the point is that this is real woods. Protected woods. where access is made VERY challenging for humans, thereby given the animals a fighting chance to not have to dodge us smelly people ;D.
And it's why the camera is on a sensor. This wildlife preserve is, for that reason, WONDERFUL, IMHO.
and yes, Mule deer are cute. ANd the stallion is lovely. All these ahem, US people who spend all their our time grooming horses so they look pretty for shows and stuff could learn something from that boy about the benefits of a good lifestyle. :D
