Feb. 26th, 2004 01:24 pmOK, I'm having one of the worse days in recent memory, and it's not helped by this USA Today poll.
GO VOTE NOW. It's running 91% in favour of a constitutional amendment banning gay marrage! Thanks to
wanderingaengus for the heads-up.

Date: 2004-02-26 10:45 am (UTC)And yes, thanks for the heads-up from this quarter, as well. I've put in my vote. Not that these polls have any legal ramifications, but... always good to make sure all voices are heard.

Date: 2004-02-26 11:10 am (UTC)I voted there, but I also voted here (scroll down a bit), where the battle is going a bit better.
Doesn't Bush have a tanking economy, crooks in his closet, two occupied countries officially under a deserter-commanded military, civil war which he is basically ignoring in his backyard, massive defecits, unseemly lies, John Ashcroft, broken treaties, an unimplemented equal rights amendment and much else to deal with? He's out of fingers to count on before he gets to declaring he is right forevermore on who should get married!
Ten more months. Hopefully he'll spend two or three of them on vacation as per habit, where he can't do any harm.
