OK, I'm having one of the worse days in recent memory, and it's not helped by this USA Today poll.

GO VOTE NOW. It's running 91% in favour of a constitutional amendment banning gay marrage! Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] wanderingaengus for the heads-up.

Sorry to hear your day's not going so well. :/

And yes, thanks for the heads-up from this quarter, as well. I've put in my vote. Not that these polls have any legal ramifications, but... always good to make sure all voices are heard.

I'm logged in to MSN on Mom's puter, iff'n you need to chat -- though I will be running out to deal with Ray/Joey/shoeing in a few mins.

Oh, my.

I voted there, but I also voted here (scroll down a bit), where the battle is going a bit better.

Doesn't Bush have a tanking economy, crooks in his closet, two occupied countries officially under a deserter-commanded military, civil war which he is basically ignoring in his backyard, massive defecits, unseemly lies, John Ashcroft, broken treaties, an unimplemented equal rights amendment and much else to deal with? He's out of fingers to count on before he gets to declaring he is right forevermore on who should get married!

Ten more months. Hopefully he'll spend two or three of them on vacation as per habit, where he can't do any harm.

actually, this poll is a little odd.

It says
yes
no

in the voting thing,

but the results show that "no" is winning..

Odd poll people! Here i was freaking out...

Is your day any better?

Sorry to have had a small part in driving you to the edge, for a while at least. ("No" is up another 1%, with another 100K votes added. Not that internet polls mean anything, but it feels good.)
