Just looked out the window and there are buds on the trees! Buds! The trees over in Carre St-Louis are sort of reddish instead of grey! Spring will come!

mindrobber, my advice to you is just take things as they come. In the words of a (married) friend of mine, enjoy being single while you can because things are very different afterwards.

My colleague and friend Martha is going to climb Kilimanjaro. I'm jealous about that too. (Check the pretty banner graphics on the site -- aren't Roula and Negin talented? I work with them too, you know.)

I guess I was so focused on getting into a routine with the cats and all, I forgot that my routine would have to be different today.

Oh well.. I rescheduled for Friday at 9:00.. hopefully, I won't miss it this time!

The kitties are great. Every time we come home Zorro is stretched out and napping on either the sofa or the big chair in the living room. I can never spot Jasper from the window, but he is always in one of the nooks of the desk once we get inside. They are out more, now that they can't hide as easily and the later at night it gets, the more comfy they are. Somewhere around 1:30AM last night/this morning Jasper almost ate out of MJ's hand.

well. they are pretty much invisible to the naked eye -- it's only in the aggregate that they really show up. But they're there.

I think ARGH! You Americans! is the global anthem right now, so that's nothing new. Maryland is practically on the equator anyways - you can't judge by them. I'm virtually around the corner from you, AND further south, and I don't have buds.

Got rain, though. Rain rain rain rain. And flood warnings. Time to check the basement pump.
