Not mine for a change, however.

We have determined that things are currently SNAFU rather than FUBAR because the situation is, sadly, all too recognizable. Cannot say more than this in public. Steven believes that we may be heading for FUBAR. He may be right.

But it's not my problem! Not my problem! Text is written, graphics are done, my part is finished until they have something for me to check! Yaaay!

This doesn't happen often enough, which may be why I sound a trifle heartless.

Project that stressed me out all weekend is apparently in good hands in Orlando. Surprise blast-from-the-past evil project is in good hands with Martha.

On the downside, I'm still trying to figure out how to tell the client "All your changes contradict the approved version of the text! Please try again!" and make it stick. Also, working on the bloody storyboard and comparing it to the approved version and cursing every time I come across one of said changes.

Also, there is one more change (OK, yes, if I'm honest, it's more like an unfixed bug) on December's problem, which I really hope we'll be able to fix because the thing is an absolute pig for RAM as it is and past a certain point, there may not be much we can do. Still, dumped it in Pat's lap and hopefully he will fix it tomorrow morning and then test it properly rather than changing one line of code, handing it to me with a cheery "It's fixed!" and leaving me to discover the problems, which is the usual scenario. Grrrr.

Still no word on this morning's emergency. Iain's computer's still on so I assume he's still working on it. I get to be the official PM on this thing from now on, oh joy... I foresee many angry phone calls in my future!

Before I forget:

It's "Ruthless pragmatism".

So far, I note that I seem to be the only person expressing this interest. Strange.

(Edited to add: although the ordinary kind of pragmatism has 6 communities and 118 users listed.)
