RIP Ginger
Aug. 19th, 2003 09:42 am... my cousins' dog, 17 years old and in failing health, was put down last night. She got a reprieve Thursday night when the power was cut, but no call from the governor last night. She and her brother Fred (who died a few years ago) were sweet, yappy, lively, maddening little dogs who never quite mastered the art of house-training. I remember J and I doing our level best to train them at the cottage the summer I was 12. I also remember waking up in the sofa bed when I'd slept over to find one in front of me and one in the crook of my knees, effectively immobilizing me. My dog, Brandy, was two years younger than them and always held them in great respect despite being four times their size; they used to play tag at the cottage, Brandy running just fast enough to keep ahead of the dachshunds around and around the cottage.
Good times.
Good times.
grrr legacy projects grrrr
Aug. 19th, 2003 05:27 pmHonestly. Considering the amount of cash we sank into this project 3 years ago, there should be a SHITLOAD of pretty collateral kicking around.
But there isn't. Or if there is, I can't find it in the 2 (!) extremely messy project drives. C'est bordel, voyons. (Sometimes French swearing just works so much better.)
You mean I'm actually going to have to write a paragraph describing the product? What a bizarre idea. I'll see if the website has anything sensible.
