Random update of little itty bits:
Jun. 4th, 2004 12:37 pmIt's my last day as a project manager. I'm not packed yet, and I'm driving to Toronto this evening.
I'm wearing a light purple linen skirt and a darker sweater and my hair is clean (as opposed to pinned up and getting greasier by the day because I haven't had time to wash it). I feel all girly and springlike.
Go Flames go!
Note to terrorists: Killing people is not cool. Killing civilians and aid workers is even less cool. Fuckers. That is all I have to say on this subject.
Construction work has now invaded both ends, as well as most of the middle, of my daily commute. It's taking me twice as long to get to work.
It has occurred to me that all the stuff I really like doing as a PM, I will probably continue to do as an editor, and all the stuff I really hate doing as a PM, I won't have to do any more. This is good. I briefed one of the writers on a new project yesterday and it felt really good. I'm feeling a lot more positive about the move.
Now, I have editing to get to...
