Apparently Portugal just won the semi-final. I can tell because of all the people driving around honking, with giant Portuguese flags a-flyin'.

Ordinarily, I have no call to know what the flag of Portugal looks like (but I do salute them for bucking the three-coloured-stripes trend).

I kind of wish they'd shut up for a bit and let me focus, but it's probably not going to happen.

Just a note: this is probably harmless, but I am paranoid and know just barely enough about this kind of thing to be nervous...

If you complete the "who's your best friend?" meme that's going around and then, from that meme's results page, click the little LJ user icon that normally takes you to the user info page, you are instead taken to (what appears to be) a similar-looking page on the host site (macoto.t4kumi.net). If you then absent-mindedly try to log in using your LJ username and password... which I did... that seems like it could conceivably be a chance for the host to harvest this information.

I changed my password right away. Don't be silly like me. ;)
