House update: Tuesday

My aunt reports:

Today for lunch, John and I had vegetable soup and grilled cheese and ham sandwiches, with pickles.

Yesterday evening, William and John cut Robin's kitchen countertop to fit--following William's and Stuart's suggestion. Will need a backsplash.*

John is working on the space for the future corner cabinet of Robin's counter, on the gable for the next piece of countertop, and on support for the dishwasher. He also cleaned up all the sawdust he and William produced the previous evening. Went to both Rona and Home Depot--a red-letter day.

Gill is priming.

William has covered pipes in Jen's kitchen; ducts still to come.

We will be consulting William about converting my 'amazing'** black--inlaid with jade, ivory, wood and other stuff-- Chinese doors into two china cabinets, which is a project I have had in mind for about ten years.

I have just compressed 94 34 [less impressive, sorry -- the page range was 94 to 128] pages of text into 1419 words. I could probably stand to shorten it a bit still. Nevertheless, go me. (Grade level according to Word: 9.0)
