Date: 2004-04-29 06:54 am (UTC)It makes me curious about the whole P*TA "shearing sheep is cruel" issue however. It seems far more cruel to not shear the sheep and make them carry 60 pounds of wool around on their backs for years.

Date: 2004-04-29 07:40 am (UTC)You are ABSOLUTELY right. Not sheering sheep leaves them quite uncomfortable, and can create health issues. In fact, the wool over their eyes can actually rub the cornea and make them go blind if it is not trimmed back.
