May. 11th, 2004 10:50 amI was in a crap mood this morning but it's improved thanks to coffee and a word of thanks from my client. And today's Calvin and Hobbes. I don't like being this emotionally volatile, but whaddyagonnado? In fairness, it didn't help that the bus was full of irritating 10- to 12-year-olds and the news is getting to me. And I'd ordinarily have found the daycare kids that got on 2 stops after the tweens got off incredibly cute, but having started off aggravated, I carried on.
I bought a ton of summer-coloured T-shirts on the weekend, having discovered my wardrobe was pitifully lacking same. I'm wearing one (light blue) with my long brown wrap skirt and sandals -- this is also helping my mood. Summer is coming.

mood swings r us
Date: 2004-05-11 08:14 am (UTC)well, after I greatly alarmed my parents by, in a fit of pique, kicking the post that holds up the carport (they heard it in the house and didn't know what had happened) I calmed down. And accepted that I will always run to highs and lows.... Mom and I were discussing it, and it is all my sister's fault ;). I was apparently a calm, balanced, alert baby and toddler. Then my sister arrived and it all changed. ;)
So there.
glad to hear your day is improving!
